Laser Skin Rejuvenation
in Yakima, Washington

At Integrative Dermatology in Yakima, we use Sciton laser technology to help improve tone, clarity, texture, collagen support, and overall skin quality.

Your laser plan is built around your skin, your comfort level, and the amount of downtime that fits your life. We will walk you through the options and recommend the treatment that makes the most sense for your goals.

Sciton BBL

The Foundation of Skin Health & Aging Prevention

BBL uses broadband light to treat common concerns like brown spots, redness, visible vessels, and acne related inflammation. It also supports healthier looking skin over time by targeting signs of sun damage and uneven tone.

In simple terms, BBL helps skin look clearer, brighter, and more even with a consistent treatment plan.

What BBL Treats & Improves

Sun damage, freckles, and age spots
Uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation
Redness, rosacea, and broken capillaries
Hemangiomas and other benign vascular lesions
Active acne and acne-causing bacteria
Post-inflammatory pigmentation
Early fine lines and collagen loss
Overall skin clarity and radiance

Treatment Areas

BBL can be safely and effectively performed on:

Face Neck Chest and décolletage Arms Back Legs Abdomen

Treatment Experience & Downtime

  • Treatment time: ~20–40 minutes depending on area
  • Sensation: Warm pulses or snapping sensation
  • Downtime: Minimal
  • Post-treatment: Mild redness or warmth for several hours; pigmented or vascular spots may darken before gradually fading over 3–10 days

Most patients return to normal activities the same day.

  • Series of 3–5 treatments, spaced 3–4 weeks apart
  • Maintenance treatments three to four times per year to support long-term skin health and aging prevention

Enhancing BBL Results with SkinTyte

SkinTyte treatment in Yakima, WA

Targeted Collagen Support & Skin Firmness

If early laxity or crepey texture is part of the concern, SkinTyte may be added to a BBL plan for gentle heating and collagen support.

SkinTyte uses infrared light to warm the deeper layers of the skin while protecting the surface. When paired with BBL, it can support both tone and firmness without adding meaningful downtime.

  • Face and jawline
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Arms

Downtime: None

Best for: Mild to moderate skin laxity

SkinTyte can support firmer looking skin, but it is not a replacement for surgery or injectable tightening treatments.

Sciton ProFractional Laser Resurfacing

For deeper texture changes, acne scars, fine lines, and collagen support.

ProFractional is a fractional erbium:YAG resurfacing treatment from Sciton. It treats the skin in tiny, precise channels instead of resurfacing the entire area at once. The surrounding skin stays intact, which helps support healing while still allowing the treatment to reach deeper texture concerns.

At Integrative Dermatology, your provider can adjust the depth, density, and intensity of treatment based on your skin, your goals, and how much downtime you can plan for. That flexibility is one of the reasons ProFractional can be a strong option for acne scarring, deeper lines, and skin that needs more remodeling than a light peel can provide.

What can ProFractional help treat?

  • Moderate to deeper lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scars, surgical scars, and traumatic scars
  • Rough texture and sun damaged skin
  • Enlarged pores and uneven tone
  • Crepey texture on the face, neck, chest, or hands

What is recovery like?

Recovery depends on how aggressive the treatment is. Most patients can expect redness, warmth, swelling, and a rough or sandy texture as the skin heals. Many people look much better within 5 to 7 days, although deeper settings can take longer.

Texture and firmness continue to improve over the following weeks as new collagen forms. Some patients see a meaningful change after one treatment. Others do best with a series, especially when treating acne scars or deeper lines.

Sciton MicroLaserPeel

For smoother texture, brighter tone, and a refreshed surface.

MicroLaserPeel is a precise resurfacing treatment that removes a very thin layer of damaged surface skin. It is often a good fit for patients who want visible improvement in texture and tone, but do not need the deeper remodeling of ProFractional.

Your provider can adjust the treatment depth based on your skin and your goals. Lighter treatments can be used for a quicker refresh. Deeper treatments may create more peeling and downtime, but can offer more noticeable smoothing.

What can MicroLaserPeel help treat?

  • Fine lines and early wrinkles
  • Sun damage and brown spots
  • Uneven tone and surface pigmentation
  • Rough texture, enlarged pores, and dull skin
  • Mild acne scarring

What is recovery like?

Most patients have redness and tightness at first, followed by peeling over the next few days. Skin usually starts to look smoother and brighter as peeling resolves, often within 4 to 7 days.

MicroLaserPeel can be done as a single treatment or as a series. During your consultation, we will help decide how deep to treat and how to time it around your schedule.
